My name is Jack O'Sullivan and I am helping organize activities for ye to do when ye arrive in Ireland.
I am currently on my summer holidays from college where I am studying Fine Art. I, like many of ye, enjoy music and sports, I am the vocalist in a band and play Gaelic Football with my local G.A.A. club.While preparing for your visit, I have been in contact with local rugby clubs, finding music groups for ye to interview and researching fun ways to explore the City of Limerick which I think ye will thoroughly enjoy,

Introductions

I am Paula. I am 14 years old and I live in Temperley.

I go to "Manuel Belgrano" school and as soon as people there told me about this trip, I didn't think it twice and said "That' ll be my 15 year-old present". What I like most in life is roller-skating and listening to music. I prefer punk music, but it also depends on how I feel each day.

Talking about subjects, I prefer physics, chemistry and maths; as I hate history or geography.

I also love peaceful places where I can relax, or read a book without anything bothering me.

I don't usually watch TV, as I prefer going to roller-skate with some friends or just sunbath reading one of my favourite books; I think life is so short to waste time laying in bed in front of the "idiot box".

What I also love is dancing and singing, but I am not really good at that; so I leave that activities for when I am alone at home, jaja.

I decided to do this trip because I think you can learn a lot of tours like this, much more than travelling by yourself, as a tourist. I also love the idea of talking to other students like me, or elder, who speak the language I learn and love -english-.

But what I like the most, is learning about different cultures, their dances, costumes, etc.

In fact, I am sure I'll never forget that trip, and I'll spend the most beautiful weeks of my life discovering Ireland and the UK.

 My name is Agostina Papaleo and I´m 16 years old. I was born on 27th of July. I live with my mother, my father, my sister and my brother. My mother, whose name Sandra, is 48 years old, my father, whose name is Robeto, is 54 years old, my sister, whose name is Emilia is 13 years old and my brother, whose name is Guido, is 9 years old. Also, I have a white dog whith brown spots, whose name is Flor.

 My hobbie is dancing, i love it. When I dance, I feel very happy, in fact I go to a place where I dance Reggaeton, and I would like to dance Jazz, Classic and Hip Hop, but not now, because of the school, and time. I like going out with my friends and with my family. I don´t like going to college if it is to study, but if, if it is to be with friends.

 From the trip to Ireland and UK, I expect to learn more the language, and to being able to have a conversation to other people, because it is so difficult to me the speech. And obviously, to know people of there,and why not to manage to be friends. And to visit other countries, because I have never go on a trip without my family, and I like knowing new places.

This is a part of me and my life. In some months, we are going to meet and I think it´s going to be a fantastic experience.

Hello! I´m Antonio. I am a fifteen-year old student and I want to go to Ireland because I am interested in History and the architectural structures of this country and I would like to learn about them. I like playing computer games. I do judo and I would like to teach a little about it. I want to go to a museum or an ancient castle. I have one brother and two sisters. I´m the oldest of the four and I want to go there to learn. I like burgers and junk food and a lot of other things, but I would like to taste your food.

Hello! I am Mailén. I´m 15 years old and I live with my parents in Lomas. I´ve played hockey since I was 5 and I play it in Lomas Athletic Club. In my free time I read romantic books and I love to have a good time with my friends.

I´d like to know about the culture of Ireland and I´ll be really excited if I could see the old castles and I´d be interested in knowing about the history of Ireland.

I am a good cook and I would love to be able to cook a typical Argentinian dish for you. I would like to be able to cook Irish food too.

Hi! I´m Trinidad. I´m 15 years old. I´m Emiliano´s twin. And I wanted to tell you some things about me.

My hobbies are playing tennis and volleyball. I really like drawing and playing the piano. I´m very interested in fashion and I would lovet to be able to cook a typical Argentinian dish for you. Don´t worry, I´m not going to burn your kitchen!

Hi! My name is Guido and I´m 15 years old. I´m a student at Belgrano School. In my free time I like playing the guitar, playing games on the computer and my Play Station, and playing tennis or football with friends. I live in Temperley with my family. I live with my father, my mother and my brother.

I would like to go to Ireland because I´m very interested in learning about the music, the bands, the musical culture in that country. I´m very interested in playing football there and in learning about the different sports. I would like to eat traditional food. I would like to know more about medicine in the country because I´d like to be a doctor in the future. And finally, of course, I´d like to travel around the country to know new places like museums, castles, etc.

Hi! My name is Gastón. I´m 14 years old. My birthday is in June. I love to play football and tennis. I´m very interested in visiting the University of Limerick because I want to meet other students and learn about international business.

In my free time I go to run and do Tae-kwon-do. On Sundays, I go to the River Plate stadium. It is my favourite team. The national team plays there. It is the biggest stadium in Argentina.

I live in Buenos Aires, with my parents and my two brothers. My favourite food is asado. I want to be an accountant when I grow up. I like Messi and Del Potro a lot. I want to meet a lot of people, especially girls. I want to eat Irish food.

When I have free time I like playing football or I use the computer. I have five brothers and my parents.

I want to visit a football stadium. I want to try the English food and I´d like to go fishing.

I want to visit a football stadium in England, like the Chelsea Stadium or Manchester City Stadium, and play football in one of these.

Hi, I’m Fran. I live in Temperley.  My favorite, and the only sport I practice, is swimming. I train and compete frequently (obviously, when I have good marks). Music is my passion and also my hobby. I play the guitar every day, and study music. I enjoy playing with my rock band. I expect to improve my English and discover different cultures and places which I only had seen in photos and movies. I can wait for April 2011 and visit the European continent.
